Platforms and format
[edit]Rockstar describes the launch product as a single-player experience for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PC release has been announced in the currently catalogued official material.[2]
Pre-orders and preloading
[edit]- Global pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026.
- Digital pre-orders can preload beginning November 12, 2026.
- The physical package is scheduled to become available on November 12 and contains a download code so buyers can preload.
- Rockstar states that the game unlocks at midnight local time on November 19.
Editions and bonuses
[edit]Rockstar has announced the standard game and an Ultimate Edition. The Ultimate Edition adds an exclusive collection of vehicles, weapons, apparel and other items connected to Jason and Lucia's story.[2]
All pre-orders and purchases made before November 20, 2026 receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, a collection themed around Vice City's earlier neon era. Rockstar also advertises one free month of GTA+ with eligible digital pre-orders.[2]
